Joe Aguilar - Account Manager

"I am passionate about being an Account Manager, especially for the State of Colorado. Working as a team is a win-win situation for me, as I love working and building relationships with others to brainstorm and come up with solutions while, at the same time, we are assisting the people of Colorado."

Joe Aguilar has led the IDS Account Managers team since it was created as IDS Customer Service and with the State of Colorado for more than 22 years. His expertise within a production environment grew throughout the years, becoming an SME in all print, bindery, and mail components as well as pre-flight and design phases.  

He began his career with IDS to help with the legislative printing at the multiple downtown locations, then ran the Quick Copy production floor as lead after the shops moved to the North Campus facility.

Creating the IDS Customer Service team was necessary in connecting with the customer base. Joe took the lead role and extended his production, industry, and customer relations knowledge to staff and customers. He trained new employees through all phases of production and customer service, including traditional and digital print, bindery, mail, and design – anything related to document solutions. He helped grow the Account Management team to where it is today. Joe oversees the entire team and mainly works on the commercial print side, partnering with outside vendors, and following each project from start to finish.

Joe enjoys the outdoors and loves camping and fishing with friends and family.
