What is an Application Assistant?

An Application Assistant is a crucial point of contact for people wanting to enroll in the ACP. Application Assistants must provide direct services to victims of stalking, sexual assault, or domestic violence OR be a protected healthcare worker. The ACP has a training process for Application Assistants to become certified before they can support someone enroll in the program.

What do Application Assistants do?

Application Assistants meet with potential program participants to determine program eligibility and program fit. Application Assistants complete program applications and submit them to the ACP for processing. ACP staff do not meet with potential participants for enrollment.

How do I become an Application Assistant?

Review the training options to Become an Application Assistant. Certification requires reviewing the content, completing a Skills Assessment to 100%, and submitting an Application Assistant Agreement. Certification is good for 2 years at a time.
