In an effort to implement LEAN DPA/OIT Business Case recommendations of standardizing office print equipment the IDS Multifunction Printer Program (MFP) underwent the process of a rule change, effective October 30, 2015.
The rule change officially states that the Integrated Document Solutions MFP Program will now govern all office print equipment. This includes Desktop Scanners, Desktop Printers, Local Printers and Network Printers. All procurement requests will require an official IDS waiver prior to purchase.
