U.S. Military Service Badges
In honor of all the U.S. Military Veterans employed by the State of Colorado, IDS State Branding would like to offer these honorary email badges. These are available for use underneath the standard email signature, should the veteran chose to use them, and identify the branch they served. The State of Colorado is proud and incredibly privileged to employ U.S. Military Veterans. We thank you for your service to this country, and appreciate your service to our state.
Guidelines on Using an Honorary Badge
- Place the badge art underneath the standard email signature.
- Please select size "Medium" when placing into your email signature.
- Use the proper clearance space so that the standard State email sig lockup and the honorary service badge are separate elements.
- Use this link to access the image folder and select the appropriate badge for your military branch.
- Ensure that your badge includes alternative text.
Gmail Users
Option 1: With Alternative Text (Recommended)
- Highlight and copy the image for your branch (below). When you do, alternative text (prepared for you) should also be copied.
- Open your Gmail Settings
- Place your cursor where you want your badge to appear in your email Signature.
- Paste your copied image and alternative text.
- Make adjustments if needed (to ensure the size is medium).
- Save your changes.
Option 2: Without Alternative Text
If you use this option, you will need to add alternative text to your badge each time you send an email or add alternative text to your signature in some other way.
- Open your Gmail Settings
- Place your cursor where you want your badge to appear in your email Signature.
- Click on the Image icon (usually under your signature).
- Paste one of the links provided below.
- Make adjustments if needed (to ensure the size is medium).
- Save your changes.
